BCB President Gave Big Statement Regarding Shakib Al Hasan: BCB’s new president Farooq Ahmed has made a big statement regarding Bangladesh cricket team’s experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. He says that Shakib Al Hasan, who is accused of murder, will continue to participate for the team until he is convicted. Ahmed has clearly said, “Shakib Al Hasan will be allowed to play until he is convicted. The Bangladesh team will go to India after the Pakistan tour and we want to see them there as well. Shakib is our contracted player. If needed, we will also provide him legal assistance.”

So the matter is such that a man named Rafiqul Islam has accused a total of 154 people, including former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, of murdering his son. Here Shakib has been named as the 28th accused.

The man says that his 17-year-old son died after being shot during the recent protests in Bangladesh. After which he has lodged a murder charge against 154 people at the Adabar Police Station in Dhaka. Shakib Al Hasan’s name is also included in the report.

Rafiqul Islam had demanded Shakib’s removal from the Test

At present, Shakib Al Hasan is on a tour of Pakistan with the Bangladesh cricket team. Before he could participate in the Rawalpindi Test here, Rafiqul Islam’s lawyers had started demanding Shakib’s exclusion from the Test series.

A legal notice was also sent to the Bangladesh Cricket Board by the lawyers to keep Shakib out of the Test series. In which it was clearly demanded that he be kept out of the Test series against Pakistan.
