Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly picked India and Australia as the 2 best teams for the T20 World Cup 2024. Ganguly said that India and Australia are the finalists of ODI World Cup 2023. It is expected that India and Australia will maintain their dominance in the T20 World Cup 2024.
Indian team is in Group A
Ganguly said, “India and Australia are the two best teams of the tournament. I am sure they will do the same in America and West Indies.” For the T20 World Cup 2024, 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups of 5 each. The top-2 teams of each group will make it to the Super-8. The Indian team is in Group A. Apart from India, this group also includes Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and America. On the other hand, Australia team is in Group B. Apart from them, England, Namibia, Scotland and Oman are also included in this group.

Ganguly praised the squad
