What is the impact player rule
Let us tell you that the Impact Player rule was implemented by BCCI in IPL 2023. The beginning of which has seen the maximum benefit this season. During the toss in every match, all the teams give the names of their 5 impact players. These 5 players are different from the playing eleven. Out of which the team can use only one player during the match. When the team’s batting is weak then the captain includes a batsman as an impact player.

Rohit Sharma had judged wrong
Team India captain Rohit Sharma has also found the impact player rule wrong. Rohit Sharma had said regarding this that this rule actually hinders the performance of all-rounders. Cricket is a game of 11 players but due to this rule 12 players are playing. I don’t like this rule very much.
