The West Indies team has got a new captain for the T20 series with South Africa. The series is going to start from 20th May. Regarding which the team has also been announced.
T20 World Cup 2024: Before the T20 World Cup, West Indies has to play a series with South Africa. For which the team has also been announced. Names of many big players are missing from this series which includes Shai Hope, Nicholas Pooran. The new captain of West Indies has also been announced for this series. The first match of the series will be played on 20 May. The command of the West Indies team for this series has been handed over to Brandon King. Brandon King has become the 13th T20 captain of the West Indies team.
Special T20 series before the World Cup
This series is very important for West Indies and South Africa before the T20 World Cup. In this series, both the teams are going to get a chance to test their respective preparations. Players like Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell and Shimron Hetmyer will not be able to play in this series. Most of the players are currently playing in IPL 2024 and their teams have reached the playoffs. Due to which these players will miss the series with South Africa.

Different captains in series and World Cup
